Company unveils 'brand promise' to dealers

It's nice to know, in these challenging times, that you have someone supporting you every step of the way.

That's the thinking behind Restonic's new “brand promise” that the 71-year-old bedding producer is unveiling. A bevy of interviews with Restonic dealers and stakeholders revealed that the company has some strong characteristics working in its favor these days, company officials said.

“Supporting you through thick and thin” is Restonic's new message to its dealers. “In this turbulent financial climate, sure things are hard to come by. Which is why all of us at Restonic are proud of what we continue to offer you each and every day — a stable supplier you can count on, and quality products at great values.”

Building on those thoughts, Restonic makes this pledge to its dealers:

“Restonic Mattress Corp. is the 'go to' brand for retailers who are looking for a bedding partner who is more responsive and provides greater value to them, because our retailers' success is our top priority.”

That pledge has been signed by all of Restonic's licensees, signaling their commitment to it, said Ron Passaglia, Restonic president.

He and Tom Comer, president of Restonic's licensee here and one of the key drivers in the group, elaborated on those strengths, which they said are more important than ever these days.

Comer said the stability of Restonic's licensees and their stable relationships with their dealers are key advantages. “The Restonic organization, and Restonic licensees, in general, are not burdened by debt and can continue to serve their customers rather than financial landlords,” he said.

“The owners of our licensing group are stable,” Passaglia added. “Many of them have been around for decades.”

He said that relationships among dealers and suppliers are tested in times like these, and said that Restonic will stand the test of scrutiny because it is focused on helping its customers succeed.

Comer said Restonic has established a strong position in the market because it has always focused on producing the highest quality bedding products available, and offering them “at a great value.” It has also offered strong value-added programs, helping its dealers remain successful and maximize their profits, he said.

With its new brand promise, Restonic is highlighting its strengths and giving its dealers assurances that Restonic will stand by their side, whatever may happen in the turbulent market, Passaglia said.
