Crypton, Guardian develop cleaning line

WEST BLOOMFIELD, Minn. — Performance fabric maker Crypton Super Fabrics and Guardian Protection Products have joined forces to offer eco-friendly furniture cleaning products and warranties.
The new Crypton Fabric Protection program with Guardian includes an in-store application of a warranty-backed Crypton coating on furniture, as well as cleaning products.
Guardian is a longtime supplier of fabric protection programs for the furniture industry. Crypton said it has provided more than 70 million yards of fabric for hotel, restaurant and health care seating — harsh environments for fabrics.
Crypton said the protection products deliver extreme stain and microbial protection, extending the life of the furniture and helping it stay clean longer. Products are offered for fabric, leather, wood and stone.
In addition, the company said the product is “green” from the manufacturing process through to the final product, which is water-based, pH neutral, biodegradable and free of bleach, solvents and other harsh chemicals.
The company said the warranty includes a 30-day reporting time and uses service professionals through the Guardian 360-degree Total Solutions program. Warranty packages can be customized for fabric, leather, wood and stone.
