Toronto Fabric Fair set for Feb. 23-26

TORONTO — Nearly 50 mills will showcase products at the Toronto Fabric Fair at the Paradise Banquet and Convention Center here Feb. 23-26.
A news release said the semiannual event, in its sixth year, is often referred to as Showtime North, although it's not related to the semiannual Showtime fabric fair held in High Point.
Fred Hanes, who represents Lady Fabrics, said the Toronto show is operated by the sales representatives of textile companies to accommodate their customers in the North.
“It's not meant to compete with Showtime,” said Hanes. “It's intended as a complement to the show. The Toronto show has been most helpful for northern manufacturers who are unable to make the trip south to Showtime. It's purely a service that we want to provide our customers.”
