Sun adds Dallas distribution center
New facility will serve Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, Oklahoma and New Mexico

THOMASVILLE, N.C. — Home delivery specialist Sun Delivery will open a service and distribution center in Dallas on Feb. 15, its third such facility.
The new center will serve Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, Oklahoma and New Mexico. It will be managed by Tony Ficken, director of Sun Delivery's western region.
"Our new Dallas facility will allow us to offer even quicker transit times to the central region of the country, and will allow us to extend our pickup zone to a host of new furniture manufacturers and distributors," said Rick Phillips, Sun Delivery's president.
The company's other centers are in Thomasville and Los Angeles.
Sun Delivery is an asset-based carrier that provides home delivery to every ZIP code in the 48 contiguous states.
