Discount offered on early rentals

HIGH POINT — HIGH POINT — The High Point Market Authority has partnered with several rental car companies to offer discounted rates for attendees who reserve cars early.
Market Authority President Brian Casey said Enterprise, Budget and Thrifty are currently offering discounts to those using a special reservation code.
Enterprise rates start at $37 per day for a compact car on reservations made by Feb. 15, while Thrifty's rates start at $44 per day for a compact car through Feb. 28.
Budget, meanwhile has rates that start at $31 a day for a compact car without any reservation deadline.

“We're continually working to make a trip to the High Point Market as affordable as possible for retailers, manufacturers, suppliers and sales representatives,” Casey said.
The spring market runs April 25-30.
