Ashley: Shopping savvy

Leather continues to fuel the growth of Ashley's Millennium division, characterized as an aggressive producer with sharp pricing strategies.

December proved a banner month for the division in terms of double-digit upholstery sales (leather and fabric), according to Kerry Lebensburger, president of the upholstery side.

Ashley/Millennium is among those who embrace leather as a global commodity and have the freedom to shop the world to take full advantage of opportunities.

Never shy to venture into such varied arenas as room packages, Millennium most recently introduced Leather Plush, a sleek pairing of leather and microfiber resulting in a monochromatic look.
