LAS VEGAS — LAS VEGAS — Lane has announced a strategic alliance with Samsung Electronics that will enhance Lane's mobile showroom that is touring the United States.
The mobile showroom, which features Lane home entertainment furniture in a series of family room-like vignettes, has added several high-definition TVs from Samsung's Touch of Color line.
“By forging strategic relationships with market leaders like Samsung, we're able to provide our retail partners with new ways to boost customer traffic and drive sales,” said Lane President Skipper Holliman. “We wanted to create a new way to help our retailers engage their consumers at the point of sale.”
The 1,000-square-foot mobile showroom will travel some 15,000 miles this year as it makes a series of day-long stops at selected Lane dealers. The unit was unveiled at the High Point Market in October and its schedule was essentially filled before market ended.
