Maison & Objet drops N.Y. show
By Furniture Today Staff -- Furniture Today, January 6, 2002
NEW YORK — Organizers of the Maison & Objet show have called off the planned New York version of the Paris event, citing reduced American consumption and travel concerns in the wake of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.
The debut New York event had been set for May 18-20 at The Piers on the Hudson River. It was to run concurrently with the International Contemporary Furniture Fair, held at the Javits Convention Center.
Maison & Objet organizers have not set another date.
