Market socials, seminars on tap

SAN FRANCISCO — A variety of social events and special seminars are on tap for those attending the San Francisco Winter Market.

Friday-Monday, Jan. 18-21

• 8-9 a.m. –Continental breakfast, Temps On 2, 2nd floor, Mart 1.

• 3-4 p.m. –Afternoon snacks, Temps On 2, 2nd floor, Mart 1.

Friday, Jan. 18

• 5:30-7:30 p.m. –Opening Night Party sponsored by the San Francisco Mart, Mart Exchange, 9th floor, Mart 1.

Saturday, Jan. 19

• 4-6 p.m. – Temps On 2 Grand Re-Opening Party, 2nd floor rotunda, Mart 1.

• 6:30-9 p.m. –WHFA Fundraising Dinner, "An Evening to Remember," at Mark Hopkins Hotel. Raising fund for Parkinson's Disease research, in honor of WHFA's Executive Director Dave Lane. Individual tickets are $150, tables of eight are $1,000. Black tie optional. All proceeds from the event will be presented to The Parkinson's Institute. For information, call (916) 784-7677.

Sunday, Jan. 20

• 9:30-11 a.m. –"The comforts of home: Connecting to women in uncertain times," presented by Jennifer Ganshirt, Dish – the Word on Women, sponsored by WithIt. Mart Exchange, 9th floor, Mart 1.

• 1-2 p.m. –InFurniture's In Fashion Report with Mark McMenamin, Mart Exchange, 9th floor, Mart 1.

• 4-6 p.m. –Cocktail Party, 4th floor foyer, Mart 1.

Monday, Jan. 21

10 a.m.-Noon –"Creating kid space for living and learning" with design author and journalist Ro Logrippo, Mart Exchange, 9th floor, Mart 1.
