Risen leaves RightLinx post
By Brian Carroll -- Furniture Today, February 10, 2002
High Point — Paul Risen has stepped down as chief operating officer of Rightlinx after eight months to return to Web development.
Risen joined the software provider in May, said Bill Millis, a majority owner of the company. He will not be replaced.
Rightlinx has been cutting costs, moving in November to smaller quarters in High Point and eliminating two positions.
"We've cut expenses a great deal in order to be healthier," Millis said. "We have a team of programmers in India and the staff we need in High Point."
He said two major manufacturers are ready to sign up for Rightlinx's sales force automation software and order management and order fulfillment packages, but have yet to ink the deals.
