By Furniture Today Staff -- Furniture Today, December 23, 2001

Chris Plasman has resigned as president of high-end upholstery and case goods manufacturer Baker Furniture, effective Dec. 31.

Plasman, president of Baker since 1994, will pursue other interests, according to Baker parent Kohler Co. A replacement has not been named.

Before joining Baker, Plasman was president of Hickory Business Furniture, a former division of The Lane Co. He'd held that post since 1983.
