By Gary James -- Furniture Today, December 23, 2001
JAMESTOWN, N.Y. — Contract furniture veteran Paul Kasprzak has joined ready-to-assemble furniture maker Bush Inds. as vice president of marketing and merchandising.
He served 14 years at Herman Miller in product management, product development and e-commerce-related posts.
Most recently, he was Herman Miller's director of e-commerce initiatives, supervising development of the Easy Connect program, which digitally links Herman Miller and its clients. He also has worked for Haworth, Wright Line and A.C. Nielsen, and directed the eZconnect e-commerce initiative for the state of Florida.
At Bush, Kasprzak will focus on the Business Furniture division, which makes commercial office furniture sold through office superstores and mid-market office furniture dealers. He also will be involved in projects with Bush's other three divisions: Bush Furniture, the residential side of the company, Bush Furniture Europe and Bush Technologies.
He reports to Rob Ayres, president and chief executive officer of Bush Inds. This summer, Bush realigned into four units, each with its own chief. Since then, Ayres has been directing the BBF division.
