Renamed U.S. Heimtextil show set for March

MIAMI BEACH, Fla. — Heimtextil Americas, held here each spring, has been renamed to reflect its stronger focus on upholstery and decorative fabrics, and rescheduled to make its timing better for buyers.
Now called Heimtextil Americas Fabrics, the show is set for March 17-19, 2002 at the Miami Beach Convention Center.
When it was launched in 1992, the show featured finished goods as well as upholstery and decorative fabrics, but over the years fabric emerged as more dominant and the show became particularly important for exhibitors targeting the southeastern United States and Latin America.
Heimtextil Americas, organized by Messe Frankfurt, attracts most of its buyers from the United States, Mexico, Central America, the Caribbean and South America.
