Management to buy Sunbury
By Furniture Today Staff -- Furniture Today, December 9, 2001
HIGH POINT — Management led by Henry Truslow Sr., chairman and chief executive officer, is leading a buyout bid for fabric producer Sunbury.
Sunbury, which has annual sales of about $50 million, specializes in upscale wovens for the jobber, furniture, export and manufactured products markets.
In the past few years, the company has developed a significant program of high-performance and outdoor fabrics, using Sunbrella yarns from Glen Raven, for the upper end of the furniture and home furnishings market.
The management is headed by Truslow; his son, Hank Truslow, who is president and chief operating officer, and Rocco Simone, senior vice president.
LifeStyle acquired Sunbury in 1989.
