Consultant expanding design reach

PARK RIDGE, N.J. — Commercial design consultant William Blake is taking on new clients as he expands his business.
Blake has worked for Seaman's Furniture for the last 24 years, the last 10 as an exclusive consultant. He said he continues to work with Seaman's but also is accepting new jobs through his business, WRB Associates.
Blake said that before choosing to work exclusively with Seaman's a decade ago, he had design and planning accounts with other retailers, so this isn't a new venture but rather a rededication to his agency. In his work for Seaman's, he supervised the opening of more than 60 stores and directed renovations at existing locations.
