Cramer heads up WHFA

Las Vegas — Las Vegas— Marty Cramer of Cramer's Home Furnishings in Ellensburg, Wash., is the new president of the Western Home Furnishings Assn.
WHFA members unanimously appointed Cramer and other board members at a meeting during the winter Las Vegas Market.
Board members are Patti Evans, Consignments Plus, Walnut Creek, Calif.; Eric Harms, Black's Furniture, Yreka, Calif.; Jeff Lindsley, Lindsley's Home Furnishings, Grangeville, Idaho; Mark Navarra, Jerome's, San Diego; Scott Selden, Selden's Home Furnishings, Tacoma, Wash.; Mike Shuel, Meredith Furniture, Yakima, Wash.; and Pam Wright, Davis Furniture, Wenatchee, Wash.
Cramer, who has served six years on the WHFA board, has stores in Ellensburg, Omak and Yakima, Wash. He and his wife, Michelle, are active in their community, supporting the local hospital and the Equine Rescue Foundation.
"I am optimistic that things won't get worse in 2009 and they might even get better," said Cramer. "I feel like those of us that are here now are survivors, and I think it is going to be a fun year."
