Webinars offer advice on creating press kits

Presentations will target High Point Market exhibitors

HIGH POINT — The High Point Market Authority and the American Home Furnishings Alliance are offering two webinars next week to help market exhibitors prepare press materials.

The webinars will be held through the High Point Market site at www.highpointmarket.org. The sessions will be presented by Pat Bowling, vice president of communications for the AHFA.

The first of the free webinars is called "How to Build an Effective Press Kit." The one-hour session will be held at 2 p.m. March 3 and will cover what to put in a market press release, including suggestions about product photography and common mistakes to avoid.

The second session, "How to Build an Effective Press Kit-Advanced Level," is scheduled for 2 p.m. March 5 and is tailored to more experienced marketing and public relations professionals who want to improve their market press kits.
