Rick Baer leaves Baer's

POMPANO BEACH, Fla. — Rick Baer, a former vice president for Baer's Furniture here, has left the family-run retailer to pursue other interests, the company said.

His duties, which included some buying, real estate matters and overseeing Baer's West Palm Beach, Fla., store, have been divided among others in management, including Ron Lieberman, general merchandise manager, and Bobby Baer, chairman and chief executive officer, Bobby Baer said.

The company also has hired Robert Schiff to manage the West Palm Beach store.
