Virginia retailer wins HFIA market prize

HIGH POINT — In a drawing at the Home Furnishings International Assn. booth at the October market, Mary Barden of Sofa Designs in Richmond, Va., won a trip to Cozumel valued at $1,000. The trip was sponsored by GE Card services, a vendor-partner of HFIA, a Dallas-based association of home furnishings retailers and manufacturers.
In a separate drawing, Terri Bowling of Furniture Concepts in Oneida, Tenn., won a Visor personal digital assistant, sponsored by Paymentech.
