Progressive plans permanent presence at San Fran market

SWANTON, Ohio — Case goods importer-manufacturer Progressive Furniture will show at the San Francisco Mart next month in the space of parent Sauder Woodworking.
Progressive had shown once before at San Francisco in 2001, but in a temporary space. This January, the company will establish a permanent presence, exhibiting in space 835 of Mart 1.
Collections from its Woodlands Designs import division will be featured, including the recently introduced Palm Court and the proven Louis Philippe-inspired Beau Chateau collections in solids and veneers from the Far East.
Showcased items include pieces for the bedroom and dining room, as well as occasional accents and upholstery.
Woodlands Designs' best-selling pine solid and veneer bedrooms suites also will be displayed. Price points for these suites, produced in Progressive's proprietary Mexican facility, range from $999 to $1,999.
Other highlighted offerings will include curios, occasional tables and entertainment and home office pieces in a variety of woods and finishes. Many are available for shipping from the company's distribution facility in Claremont, N.C.
