Brinkley named Home Gear president

GLENVIEW, Ill. — Industry veteran Jesse Brinkley has been named to the new position of president of the Home Gear division of bedroom, occasional, and entertainment and wall system importer Prime Resources International.
"Jesse will be responsible for all sales and sales management, key and national accounts, and product development for Home Gear," said Kevin Gallagher, chief executive officer.
Brinkley was president of case goods manufacturer Lea Inds. from 1997 until this year, when he served a brief stint as president of Style@Home, a container venture startup company that eventually dissolved. He also has worked with Stanley and Universal.
Gallagher and General Manager Vince LoBue will continue to manage all Home Gear administrative, production, quality and delivery functions.
Home Gear is a container-direct program of bedroom, occasional and entertainment/walls, with merchandise also available through a warehouse program based in North Carolina.
The company plans to add master and casual dining to its offerings.
