Kahn elected to Tri-State hall of fame

MONTGOMERYVILLE, Pa. — Harry Kahn, chairman of contemporary store Jonns Interiors here and two Bassett Furniture Direct units, has been elected to the Hall of Fame of the Tri-State Furniture Assn. of Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware.
He was recognized for excellence in the retail furniture industry and for his lifetime achievements.
Kahn opened one of the first Ethan Allen stores, and founded Jonns Interiors in 1960. More recently, his company opened the two Bassett stores, in Montgomeryville and in Cherry Hill, N.J.
He has served on the board of the National Home Furnishings Assn. and has been a member of the Tri-State Furniture Assn. He also heads the Montgomeryville Business Assn.
