ABINGTON, Pa. — Northeast chain Raymour & Flanigan has opened a 58,000-square-foot store in this metro Philadelphia city.
The new store features a 5,700-square-foot Berkline gallery, a Sealy and Stearns & Foster Sleep Center, and an enhanced Kidstown gallery, in addition to furniture from Broyhill, La-Z-Boy, Natuzzi and others.
The Abington store caps a year of expansion for the Top 100 company, with stores opening earlier this year in Whitehall and Woodlyn, Pa., and a new 300,000-square-foot distribution center in Gibbstown, N.J. Four more Philadelphia-area stores and five stores in Connecticut are expected to open in the coming year.
Family-owned and operated Raymour & Flanigan has 43 stores, 12 customer service centers and two distribution centers in New York, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, New Jersey and Connecticut. The Liverpool, N.Y.-based company was named Retailer of the Year by the National Home Furnishings Assn.
