City of Hope fund-raisers rescheduled

By Furniture Today Staff -- Furniture Today, September 30, 2001

Two City of Hope fund-raisers originally set for last month have been rescheduled. Both had coincided with the fall premarket here but were postponed in the wake of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.

Women in the Home Industries Today will now conduct its WithIt Walk and Run on Nov. 17 at the Grandover Resort in Greensboro, N.C. Starting times have been moved to the morning.

City of Hope's Southeast Golf & Tennis Tournament has been rescheduled for March 20, 2002, the Wednesday of the spring premarket in High Point.

For more information, call the City of Hope office in Atlanta at (404) 728-9010.

City of Hope, a medical research and treatment facility near Los Angeles, still plans to hold its Spirit of Life Dinner on Oct. 20, the Saturday of market, honoring Steve Kincaid of Kincaid Furniture and Bill Kimbrell of Atlanta-based Rhodes.
