Badcock to host FHFA meeting

LAKELAND, Fla. — Badcock Home Furniture & More will host an area meeting of the Florida Home Furnishings Assn. here Oct. 9.

After lunch at Eaglebrooke Golf and Country Club, David Duff will present a program on efficient warehousing and delivery. Duff will share methods to increase delivery productivity by 30% and reduce inside warehouse employees by 50%.

After the program, attendees can tour the 322,600-square-foot, high-cube Badcock distribution center, where they will learn about the equipment and technology used to ship and receive about 230 trailers of merchandise weekly.
