Knowlton joins King Koil

Hinsdale, Ill. — Former Serta executive Maury Knowlton has been named senior vice president and chief operating officer of King Koil USA, the U.S. arm of the bedding producer.

He most recently was Serta's vice president and chief financial officer. He earlier served as chief administrative officer of National Bedding Co., a major Serta licensee, and worked for 10 years in the chemical industry.

"Knowlton's diverse business experience will be a real asset to our group," said King Koil USA President Larry McKay. "His financial and manufacturing experience will enable him to assist our plants in many ways."

King Koil has 19 licensees in the United States and another 30 outside the country.
