Temporaries back inside SFM in Jan.
By Furniture Today Staff -- Furniture Today, October 7, 2001
San Francisco — Temporary exhibitors at the January furniture market here will be back inside the San Francisco Mart.
After three markets across Market Street in the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium, they'll be in a "Temps on 2" area on the second floor of the SFM's Mart 1 for the winter market, set for Jan. 18-21.
Mart officials said the Temps on 2 space had been used as office space for an Internet tenant. While the temporary space is smaller than what was available in the auditorium, the exhibitors will benefit from moving back to the Mart, said Roseann Carini, the building's senior vice president of leasing.
"Housing the temporary exhibits in Mart 1 gives buyers convenient access to a wide variety of product categories, styles and prices, and it gives the exhibitors an advantageous location," she said.
