Banker will assess economy

High Point — Timothy Martin of Bank of America will discuss the 2002 economic outlook at the National Home Furnishings Assn.'s Retailer Resource Center from 5 to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 17.
Martin is senior vice president and senior economist with the bank. He will present a detailed look at the economic outlook, including the impact of recent events on consumer spending, expectations for the housing market, the stock market, interest rates and more, focusing on the furniture industry.
The Retailer Resource Center is on the 12th floor of the International Home Furnishings Center's Main wing.
