By Furniture Today Staff -- Furniture Today, October 7, 2001
High Point — Gautier USA will increase its space at the October market by about 50% with a new 6,000-square-foot showroom in the 220 Elm building.
The company, a subsidiary of Europe's fourth-largest furniture manufacturer, will show a broad selection of products in designs featuring sleek lines and a European contemporary look.
"When we first opened in the United States, we only carried juvenile bedroom furniture. Now we've expanded to include adult bedroom, office, entertainment centers and dining room suites," said José Gosselin, chief executive officer of Gautier USA. "We are looking to the future, when the economy will pick up again, and preparing accordingly by expanding our warehouse and our market showroom."
The Florida warehouse will be doubled in size to 50,000 square feet in December, with increased inventory available to accommodate what the company said is growing demand.
Gautier offers quick ship and delivery to all customers.
