Thomasville, N.C. —
Whitewood Inds. will offer retailers the option of placing no-minimum orders for its John Thomas line of design-oriented casual dining, even if it means "onesies."
"More and more manufacturers are selling only to those willing to buy in container quantities," said Davis Beaston, vice president of Whitewood's John Thomas Division. "We know there's a lot of business to be had from retailers who simply choose not to buy in container loads."
John Thomas premiered at last April's market and began shipping in August. Introductions this October will double the number of existing collections.
Whitewood includes the John Thomas division and the International Concepts container division, and makes dining, occasional, outdoor and juvenile furniture for the ready-to-finish market. It shows in High Point at 215 S. Main St.
