Carpet One

MANCHESTER, N.H. —Dean Marcarelli and Charlie Dilks have been appointed co-chief operating officers for floor covering retail chain Carpet One.

Marcarelli has been senior vice president of marketing for the company, and Dilks has been president of Carpet One Canada. Both will continue in their current roles in addition to filling the newly created COO posts.

Marcarelli joined Carpet One in 1997 with 15 years of retail experience. Dilks worked at Shaw Inds. and Color Tile prior to joining Carpet One Canada in 1997.

Collezione Europa

ENGLEWOOD, N.J. —Donald Eisen, vice president of sales and merchandising at Collezione Europa, is relocating to Las Vegas to concentrate on sales west of the Mississippi. He also will oversee the growth of the CZE Accents accessory line.

The case good resource has named Tim Connors vice president of Eastern sales and merchandising, based at corporate offices here. He has more than 25 years of retail experience, the last 16 at Marlo Furniture in Rockville, Md.

Display Technologies

COLLEGE POINT, N.Y. —Joe A. Herrmann has been promoted to executive vice president and general manager at Display Technologies, a designer and maker of retail point-of-purchase displays.

He has been the company's chief financial officer for the past four years. In his new post, Herrmann will oversee the operations group, including project management, logistics and quality control, and will continue to be responsible for the financial, administrative and information technology departments.

Serta Inc.

ITASCA, Ill. —Roxanne Franklin has been promoted to vice president of key accounts for Serta Inc.

Franklin joined Serta in 1995 and worked in sales before being promoted to sales manager of national accounts in August 1998. Prior to joining Serta, she worked for Sealy in its national accounts office.

In her new post, she will oversee specific key accounts. Franklin reports to Jeff Van Tuyle, vice president of sales.

Furniture Discovery Center

HIGH POINT —Angela Stroupe has been named administrative coordinator at the Furniture Discovery Center here.

A graduate of North Carolina State University, she completed her internship in parks, recreation and tourism management at FDC. Upon graduation, Stroupe joined the museum's staff part time. Her new job is a full-time position.
