NEW YORK — The New York Metro chapter of Women in the Home Industries Today (WithIt) will present a panel discussion here Sept. 25 on "Sharing the Journey: Women Reflect on Careers in Home Furnishings."
Panelists are Robin Baron, an interior designer and founder of Robin Baron Home; Katha Diddel, founder of the Katha Diddel Home Collection, which specializes in handmade embroideries and needlepoint from around the world; and Mary Jaeger, a women's fashion and home accessories designer who uses unorthodox colors and patterns with a textural sensitivity toward spare elegance and rich tradition.
HFN magazine will sponsor the event and its editor, Warren Shoulberg, will moderate.
The free discussion and networking event will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sept. 25 at the Fashion Institute of Technology. RSVP by Sept. 17 to (212) 481-8094 or by e-mail to ampfund@brooksrogers.com .
