Booth heads RiversEdge product development

LYNCHBURG, Va. — Industry veteran Lee Booth has joined RiversEdge Furniture here as general manager of new product development, a new post at the case goods importer.
He was vice president of purchased product and the accent and table divisions of Lane Furniture. Booth was responsible for all imported product, and led Lane's shift toward offshore sourcing.
His 31 years of industry experience also includes sales and merchandising. In recent years, he developed and maintained sourcing ties with factories in China, the Philippines, Indonesia, Mexico and Honduras.
"Lee's role with RiversEdge will be to expand the company's market share with new and exciting products," said Mark Stubstad, managing partner at RiversEdge. "His reputation and knowledge will help ensure our customers' continued profitability and growth."
