Boston Warehouse buys facility
By Furniture Today Staff -- Furniture Today, October 14, 2001
NORWOOD, Mass. — To accommodate sales growth and upgrade service to its customers, Boston Warehouse has purchased a new warehouse near its headquarters here.
The facility increases the company's warehouse space by 25% and allows it to consolidate and organize inventory for all three of its divisions, including Boston Warehouse, Concepts 4 and BW Home.
"Our new warehouse features a customized inventory locator system that allows us to process orders faster," said Peter Jenkins, president of Boston Warehouse. "We also bought enough land to build an additional warehouse adjacent to this one, so our future growth will mean that we will build rather than move."
