Cohen leaves Powell Co.; Ruff adds president title

CULVER CITY, Calif. — Andrew Cohen has resigned as president of Powell Co. after a career of almost 20 years at the importer.

Jerry Ruff, the former Lane Co. president who joined Powell in August as chief executive officer, has added the title of president.

Ruff and Cohen both declined to comment on the changes.

Cohen had been president since late last year, when longtime president and CEO Rick Powell stepped down to move into a consulting role. Previously, Cohen had been executive vice president of sales and marketing.
