Robb & Stucky warehouse open

By Furniture Today Staff -- Furniture Today, September 23, 2001

LINCOLNTON, N.C. — Robb & Stucky has opened a 180,000-square-foot warehouse here to better serve its stores in Florida, Texas and Arizona.

The facility, near many of the Top 100 company's major suppliers, can hold $28 million in product in eight levels of racking, and has 15 loading docks.

It can be expanded to 360,000 square feet to hold $50 million in inventory.

Fort Myers, Fla.-based Robb & Stucky operates 13 stores, most in Florida. It also has stores in Plano, Texas, and Scottsdale, Ariz.

The retailer is eyeing expansion in Houston and Atlanta but has announced no firm plans yet.

The Lincolnton warehouse, under construction for almost a year, replaces a much smaller warehouse in Old Fort, N.C.
