HIGH POINT — HIGH POINT — High-end Italian case goods manufacturer Excelsior Designs will double its showroom for the October market to 8,000 square feet in space 1110 of the Design Center in the International Home Furnishings Center.
"With this additional space we will be able to show retailers 70% more of our line, as well as increase our new offerings," said President Steven Kayne.
The expansion also will allow Excelsior to showcase its marketing programs, including a new advertising program geared for retailers to use on a regional basis.
Kayne said Excelsior has grown during a tough year through increased marketing activities, including its first national advertising campaign with full-page ads in House Beautiful, Metropolitan Home and Elle Décor, and the launch last October of its Casa Novalia mixed-media division.
Web sites with trained staff, and a new catalog and direct-mail piece have directed consumers to the nearest Excelsior retailer.
The new showroom has an enlarged café and bar area, a new work area for sales reps, and a conference room. Bobbie Hughes Design designed the space.
