GuildMaster/Decorize
SPRINGFIELD, Mo. —Jennifer Cockrell has been named advertising coordinator for GuildMaster, Faith Walk Designs and decorize.com, all divisions of Decorize Inc., a resource for accessories, lighting and accent furniture.
She will coordinate catalogs, trade advertising and press releases for the divisions, reporting to Jon Baker, chief executive officer of Decorize.
Cockrell will retain her sales position at GuildMaster, where she reports to Rick Sumner, national sales manager. She has been with GuildMaster for more than four years, in customer service and key account sales.
Also, Rita Fry has been named customer service team leader at GuildMaster. She replaces Sumner and reports to James Hoenshell, operations manager. Fry has been with GuildMaster for a year as production scheduler. Previously, she was customer service manager at McBee Binders.
Rick Sumner has been promoted to national sales manager for Faith Walk Designs, and will continue in that post at GuildMaster. He has been national sales manager and customer service team leader at GuildMaster for more than a year. Before joining the company, he owned his own wall décor and accessory company and has 20 years of sales experience.

HIGH POINT — Two divisions of the American Furniture Manufacturers Assn., the manufacturing division and the purchasing and materials management division, elected 2001-2002 officers at the trade group's annual meeting at Hilton Head Island, S.C.
John E. "Jeb" Bassett III, vice president of wood manufacturing for Bassett Furniture in Bassett, Va., was chosen president of the manufacturing division. Other officers are Reggie Propst, Kincaid Furniture, Hudson N.C., first vice president; Taylor Vaughan, Vaughan Furniture Co., Galax, Va., second vice president; and Dave Dyer, Henredon Furniture Inds., High Point, chairman of the board.
Elected to serve three-year terms on the division's board of directors were Wade Austin, Kroehler Furniture, Conover, N.C.; Mike DeHart, V-B Williams/Vaughan Furniture, Sumter, S.C.; Vernon Galloway, Carter Furniture of Salisbury, Salisbury, N.C.; Rick Rosbottom, DMI Furniture, Huntingburg, Ind.; and Andy Santulli, LifeStyle Furnishings International, High Point.
The purchasing and materials management division selected Danny Nance of Pearson Co. in High Point as president. Other officers are Robin Bartles, Lee Inds., Newton, N.C., first vice president; Barry Vandiver, Baker Furniture, Mocksville, N.C., second vice president; and Chuck Miller, Klaussner Furniture, Asheboro, N.C., chairman of the board.
Newly elected to three-year terms on the division's board were Pamela Galyean, Vaughan Furniture, Galax, Va.; Andy Kelly, LifeStyle Furnishings, High Point; Stephanie Moir, Sam Moore Furniture, Bedford, Va.; L.A. Powell, Stanley Furniture, Stanleytown, Va.; and Ben Timmerman, Hickory Hill Furniture, Valdese, N.C.
