A few years back, scuffed, toned-down finishes on formal cases gave rise to "casual elegance." Well, Fortune's Wheel has spun again, and traditional lines with relaxed, unusual finishes and fabrics are back on top this week. This time around, suppliers are adding a dash of romance in some collections with off-beat finish treatments for an eclectic flair that lets consumers dress up or dress down the furniture to their tastes.
