Once again, the editors of Home Accents Today have analyzed new product submissions for the International Home Furnishings Market in High Point, N.C., and determined five standout design trends in accents for the season. With global inspirations spanning from Europe to the Americas, these styles are united by a focus on flexibility of expression, as well as comfort and familiarity. Designers are concentrating on the joys of the home now more than ever and consumers want to replicate that coziness and nostalgia in their own homes.

Old World Ode

  • Far-flung influences from Russia to Asia to France

  • Dramatic statement pieces, both large and small

  • Refined grace with classic lines

  • Elegant materials including crystal and silk
