Bush filling in voids at lower prices
By Furniture Today Staff -- Furniture Today, April 14, 2002
HIGH POINT — Responding to the promotional climate at retail, Bush Furniture is filling voids in its ready-to-assemble line at lower price points.
"Knowing the price sensitivity of the market, some of our new items are designed to help retailers hit the price points they need to promote," said Greg Bush, president.
For instance, where Bush had been concentrating on $199 and up in entertainment, the company will offer several new entertainment units for $149 and $179.
Many of these new models represent additions to existing collections that have already proven popular at retail, Bush said.
While Bush will continue to offer its comprehensive array of step-up products, but the promotional selection will be expanded in all categories, including home office and bedroom as well as entertainment, Bush said.
In home office, the company will expand its Citizen collection, a transitional pattern with a medium superb oak finish.
