Latex West taps Gober as sales mgr.

LA MIRADA, Calif. — Foam maker Latex International West has named Jeff Gober sales manager, responsible for managing sales activities and developing the sales staff.
He has nine years of sales experience, most recently with Simmons Engineering Corp., where he worked in its machinery and knife and saw divisions.
"We are delighted to have Jeff on our team, especially during this exciting time for our company. We expect him to grow right along with us," said Steven Russo, president and chief executive officer of parent company Latex International.
Gober reports to Will Veitch, vice president of sales. Gober's first days on the job were spent meeting customers at the International Sleep Products Assn. Expo last month.
LIW is the West Coast division of Connecticut-based latex foam manufacturer Latex International. In addition to fabricating latex foam, LIW distributes polyurethane products to the mattress, furniture and other industries. The company operates out of a 93,000-square-foot facility in La Mirada.
