HIGH POINT — Italian leather upholstery producer Soft Line has leased the entire ninth floor of the National Furniture Mart for its new showroom.
Leather Bella, a related warehousing program, is moving from Center Point into Soft Line's former 6,000-square-foot space, NFM 812.
NFM's front elevator will provide direct access into the lobby of Soft Line's new 22,000-square-foot showroom.
The ninth floor formerly housed several showrooms as well as the Penthouse café'.
"We made the move to provide a better display area for our large assortment," said William Guy Ray, senior vice president of Soft Line.
The company, which ships container-direct from Italy in six weeks, is introducing 34 models at the April market.
Leather Bella offers same-day shipping on a married assortment of finished Italian frames from its warehouses in North Carolina, Texas, Arizona and California.
