GERS offers warranty reports for Stainsafe

SAN DIEGO — Software provider GERS Retail Systems has launched its automated warranty reporting tool for home furnishings protection and service company Stainsafe.
Several retailers, including Conlin's Furniture and La-Z-Boy of Indianapolis, are using the tool to automatically collect and submit warranty information to Stainsafe once a sale is complete, eliminating paperwork and saving time.
Joe Conlin, president and chief executive officer of 17-store Conlin's, based in Billings, Mont., said the new tool saves the company from manually collecting warranty information and developing a report for Stainsafe. "Not only has this saved us a substantial amount of time and improved accuracy in reporting, it has provided us with an electronic archive of data and enabled us to provide better service to customers," Conlin said.
The tool is integrated into GERS' Enterprise1 versions 7.1 and higher.
"With the support of Stainsafe, we've introduced a tool that is already providing significant value to retailers and their customers," said Don Vander Beke, executive vice president of marketing and support for GERS.
