Holland & Holland donates services to children's home

LENOIR, N.C. — Holland & Holland, a marketing, advertising and public relations firm with a number of furniture industry clients, has chosen Sipe's Orchard Home here for its annual Project Pro Bono work.
Each year, the firm donates $12,500 worth of strategic planning and creative services to a local non-profit organization.
Sipe's Orchard Home is a family-centered treatment facility for children with special needs. Founded in 1943 in Conover, N.C., the home began as a long-term haven for neglected, abused and homeless boys on a working farm. Today, the organization meets long-term and short-term needs and its services have grown to include counseling, educational assistance, therapeutic activities, family support and community involvement for boys and girls.
Mark Morgan, the home's development director, said the organization has stayed true to its roots but has evolved to meet society's changing needs.
"Having Holland & Holland's services couldn't have come at a better time," Morgan said. "Their experience can help us raise awareness of the services that we offer, the many needs these children have and how the public can help our organization."
