ShowPlace's kit wins award

HIGH POINT — Showroom building ShowPlace's presentation kit has won a trade group's award for the marketing agency and printer that put it together.

The Design Group and Gibbs Printing won a special judge's award from the Printing Industry of The Carolinas Assn. for design and execution of the kit for the downtown High Point building.

More than 1,100 entries were submitted to the contest run by PICA, a trade association representing the graphic communication industry in North Carolina and South Carolina.
