Cundiff named VP at King Hickory

HICKORY, N.C. — Upholstery producer King Hickory Furniture has named industry veteran Andy Cundiff as vice president of sales and marketing, a new position at the company.

Cundiff, a 30-year furniture industry veteran, most recently was with Lane Venture in a variety of sales management posts since 1991. Before joining Lane, he worked in sales at Bassett Furniture and Team Design, a leather importer.

"We are fortunate to have Andy as a part of our team," said John Palmer, president of King Hickory. "He has extensive knowledge and experience in our industry and will be an asset to our company."

King Hickory produces medium-priced to high-end upholstery at three plants in Hickory and a fourth in Greenville, S.C.
