NHFA plans mgr. institute March 7-10

HIGH POINT — HIGH POINT — The National Home Furnishings Assn.'s Center for Professional Education will hold its Management Development Institute March 7-10 at High Point University.
MDI is a program that prepares new managers for more responsibility in their current jobs, and for future managerial positions. NHFA offers the program every other year.
Subjects will include warehouse and operations management, human resources management, financial management and operations, inventory and merchandise management, advertising and marketing management and sales management. An overview will examine economic and demographic factors affecting the furniture industry.
The faculty includes John McCloskey, Profitability Consulting Group; Greg Mayo, Human Resources Solutions; Larry Stark and Joe Capillo, ProfitSystems; Jon Parks, Horich, Parks, Lebow Advertising; and Jerry Epperson, Mann, Armistead & Epperson.
