Jerry Crudup, former Bemco chairman
MERIDIAN, Miss. — Gerald "Jerry" Crudup, a former chairman of Bemco Associates and a key licensee in that bedding group, has died. He was 67.
He was chief executive officer of Meridian Mattress here, which joined Bemco in 1956.
Crudup was active in the bedding industry and served on the board of the International Sleep Products Assn.
"We will miss Jerry's insight, enthusiasm and support for his colleagues and our industry," said Bemco President Daryl Tarbutton, who worked with Crudup for almost 20 years. "It was a privilege to work with him over the course of his long and distinguished career."
He is survived by his wife, Jackie; three children, one of whom, Thomas, works for Meridian Mattress; and six grandchildren.
Al Droege, veteran La-Z-Boy sales rep
GREENSBORO , N.C. — Veteran La-Z-Boy sales representative Al Droege has died. He was 54.
He represented La-Z-Boy in the Greensboro area for more than 20 years. Prior to that, he was a sales representative for Burris, which was acquired by La-Z-Boy.
"Al was a delightful and devoted member of the La-Z-Boy family," said John J. Case, president of La-Z-Boy. "He had a wonderful sense of humor, a ready smile and a generosity that brought a great deal of happiness to the people in his personal and professional life."
He is survived by his wife and two sons.

David M. Dickson VI, Daniel Lynch Sales
STEINHATCHEE, Fla. — David M. Dickson VI, a sale coordinator for the Daniel Lynch Sales Co. and a fourth-generation member of an Orlando, Fla.-area furniture family, has died. He was 48.
He was a graduate of the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and had a varied career in home furnishings. Before joining Daniel Lynch Sales, he had worked as art director for Sunshine Coverups, general manager of an Ethan Allen Gallery in Maitland, Fla., a freelance graphic artist and a fine artist.
He is survived by three children; his mother, Katherine Dickson, a former furniture retailer; a partner; two brothers and two sisters.

Robert Morris, retired Bassett sales rep
POMPANO BEACH, Fla. — Retired manufacturer's representative Robert Morris has died. He was 75.
Morris represented Bassett Furniture for 45 years, covering eastern Pennsylvania and southern New York state.
He is survived by his wife and three sons.
