AVON, Mass. — Jordan's Furniture has chosen a warehouse management system from LIS called Dispatcher-WMS for its distribution facilities.
The Berkshire Hathaway-owned retailer initially will deploy Dispatcher-WMS in three distribution centers totaling 450,000 square feet, supporting its four stores in the greater Boston area. Jordan's also will use the system in its future distribution center, a 750,000-square-foot facility under construction in Taunton, Mass.
Dispatcher-WMS will interface with Jordan's GERS host system. The WMS system helps track inventory, manage returns, improve worker productivity, and track and control the costs of value-added services.
